coca diction

~ King_Crazy_Dave ~

room to room, i live life
carpets and wooden floors,
doorways flip by like slides
situation punctuation lies in the
sound of locks latching behind me
leaving traces
in each
uncrying, just
sighing and
tied to regret
thick enough to
turn iron shy
to cut diamond.
tethered to feeling weathered.

i listen to pain music
i look only
only slightly sad
like
the sight of an
old man pulling out of a cemetary

i should run
and audition, i am a class act
i am performing for you, live
nude
twenty four hours per rotation
and seven spins a week
like
this wont touch me

i got caught up in the numbing words whispered
i got caught up in the
coca diction
her tongue is so soft
her fingers are
delicate her
fingers are so
slender

in retrospect
i vomit.
in the moment, i
suicide.
in the coca diction
breath wasted

i live life step by step, i
transcend what you predict
i live my life choice by choice
i am not an addict.

I love how you automatically know the coolest things to do with the words. I love how you turned "numbing words" into "coca diction." You're wicked.

i think this is more forward than what im used to seeing for you. shedding your ambiguity, even just alittle bit, lets people see under the skin... the skin that we weather every day to be tough as leather... i liked fully.

'...i live my life choice by choice ...' ... love that line.... by nature, choice appears chaotic..... ...'normality' walks a fine line these days..... the slightest veer in any direction tends to be demonized.......the dissected title clenched it.
