Love Died On A Dusty Road
Love died a few years ago on some dusty road in the middle of nowhere
completly forgotten until now, when the winds carry it's magic dust away
sprinkle a little bit over the top of this game
and maybe I'll win until the dust wears off and fades away,
love is not here
it died a few years ago on some dusty road in the middle of nowhere.
I want to find where nowhere is so I can come
and maybe revive love?
I want something to feel, not the pixie dust
that you sprinkle on top of lies
sugar coating everything you said.
Love died a few years ago on some dusty road in the middle of nowhere
forget a road it was more like a highway
highway nowhere
in the middle of the desert in my heart
and collapsed onto the ground.
And atop that one-way street
that was supposed to be meant for nothing but joy,
the beatings of love
within a heart that had always believed in fairytales
became nothing but faded echoes
and crushed lovestrings,
because love died a few years ago
on some dusty road to nowhere,
and I can't find the way
to get it back.
I've lost the map that once held the way
to the road that leads to nowhere
where love lay dead,
I've lost it long ago and
I have forgotten the way
Love, Love died a few years ago on a dusty road
that leads to nowhere
and that's where it will stay.
There love lies lifeless, run over so many times
on this forgotten road in the middle of nowhere
a dusty forgotten road,
I want to find this road to revive love
so I don't have to taste the sugar coated lies
that have been said
and that will always be said,
stop using pixie dust to hide behind
please stop,
stop acting like it transforms you into something your not,
you're no (you won't, you'll never be)
knight in shining armor as I thought you once were.
Love died on a deserted highway
in the middle of nowhere
trapped on this forgotten road
and starved itself to death,
love collapsed to it's knees on a dusty highway
in the middle of nowhere
a few years ago.
The wind will carry whats left of love
other then its skeleton
so people can sugar coat their lies once mroe
and starving love will always die
in the cruel twisted hands of this desert
in the middle of nowhere.
"Love, is meant to flourish and then die out"
love dies,
for the sake of those who wish to sugar coat their lies.
(It took me about 5 hours to write this, so I hope whoever reads this likes
it. The words in quotations are my own, enjoy!)
