RoArKe'S ReGrEt

~ CrOsSeD N BoUnD ~

As I sit here and slit my wrists
My veins get tight as I form a fist
It aches so bad as I move it back and forth
And they said, "this is all your life is worth"

My whole life flashes before my eyes
I see all of the truth, and all of the lies
Then I see my blood drip to the floor
I then became startled by the knock at the door

The door bursts open, my sister comes in
She yells, "Dont be like your father, suicide's a sin"
I looked her in the eyes and asked, "is this my fate?"
I fell to my knees and screamed, "you're too late"

She held my hand and let out a prayer
"why didnt you stop him god, this isn't fair"
I wonder why I picked up that knife
Dont be like me, I screwed up my life

Where were you god when I chose the wrong path
You're supposed to guide me, but you let me crash
Judgment day is coming, what do I say
please send me back god, I made a mistake. . .

Usually, I absolutely despise cutting poems... but I said usually. I actually enjoyed this very very much. I thought it came right from the heart and wasn't an attempt at attention like most. Very nicely done... excellent.
