being blind

~ King_Crazy_Dave ~

Speak of the times
When past met present punctures
Poking out of mind, mine, even.
And she lives to kill life
Parasite, a sight, for the seamless blur
Of the unconscious
Open up the door, the bell still rings in your heart
Uneasy
As dirt from her elegant high heels grinds
Into your carpet, smell of
Flowers in her hair
They aren’t there
Her nails dig into your back
Like a hundred times, ago, before.
Though, she is not here for your body
This time,
Its for your heart
Beat, pumped joy once.
She cant have another, without mine, and yours.
Bright like traffic signals eyes flash
Thoughts blend and you spin she
Doesn’t speak the truth even when she promises
Fire.
Gasoline, dressed as water.
She’ll put you out,
She’ll put you out alright.
And a voice like staring at the sun,
You don’t mind being blind,
But you didn’t want the cancer.
