golden lotus (final transfiguration) destination...enlightenment

guide me
spirit of the night
through visions and inner dreams
to the darkness within
so that i may fill it with
enlightenment
in an understanding connection with
mind
body
and
spirit

my consciousness
climbs the steep path
along this journey
a warmth within
the light inside
my soul

yearning to bask my open petals
upon the rays of awareness
nourishing my every cell of
existence
so that i may
learn
teach
and
return

it has been a long struggle
through the void
i once feared

i enter the darkness
in search of light
finding
pure love

swallowed by the
petals of protection
a cocoon
and me
the butterfly
the seed
the jewel

during this process
my final transfiguration
i seek experience
find knowledge
and
gain wisdom
