A dream

~ Bluegirl ~

So many tears
Heard by no one else's ears
but my own
Why can't I reach out
for your loving hands
And take the help that is offered?
Too stubborn
Too tired
Too desperate
To resist harmful habits
You may as well stop trying
The more you reach out
The further away I will run
Just tell me
at first morning's light
that it was only
A dream
And give me something better.

ah, Miss Blue... your talent has grown by leaps and bounds! this is wonderfully done... to not take what is being offered is what I do best! you have opened a door for me... thanks!

amazing. Despite the desire to push away, and run, there is still a hope within the last lines of embrace. Great work, i too know the trials of stubborness =)

::hugs:: dreams quickly turn to nightmares... i hope one morning you will open your eyes and everything will be as you want it, and you'll be free.

Great piece...I have a problem reaching out myself. I pretty much have it figured that I am just too stubborn. I hope you get your "something better".---jer
