Isn't it Ironic?

~ hate_doll ~

Nine times out of ten
Nine nails through the head
No one ever gets it

Nigger is as nigger does
But not if white man says it first
I guess that's right
For the niggers sold
Each other out

A lesbian is pleasing
In the eyes of a man
Who gay bashes on the weekend

And feminazis of the world unite!
To not strive for equality
But wish for power above
Those opressive men
Make them sit when they piss
Yeah, that'll show 'em

The rappers who diss
The punks who rebel
Both too stubborn to understand
How alike they are
Too 'hardcore'to be mainstream
Though every move they make
Is caught and watched
On MTV

It's now fashion faux pas
To like fashion at all
anti-cool is nu-cool

It's so comfortable
When individuality
Fits like a uniform

Isn't it sad
That an African child
Is dying for a taste
While a teenage girl
Is refusing a bite

And we're all fighting
A bible thumper's fight

We have to kill the people
To bring them to ultimate salvation
But first we must kill difference

Spit at the unmodest bastard
For he can't hold in his arogance
As well as I

...isn't it ironic?

(a sparatic look into my silly little mind)

Well conceived piece. I love when someone brings irony in a poem, most our world is ironic, due to it's irrationality

"it's so comfortable when indiv. fits like a uniform" is a wonderfully enigmatic line (in my view). interesting insight in this poem. not altogether original (what is), but worth reading.
