In autumns fall

By Tmthor

When autumn comes the leaves do fall

But not before nature colors them all

Orange yellow & red

Hard to believe soon they’ll be dead

All the colors of fire

All the colors of desire

The world looks as set ablaze

Full of color you’d be amazed

That soon the branches would be bare

And snow would soon be there

As the earlier sunsets burn the sky

And the leaves fall and die

I turn to face the winter’s cold

Waiting to feel its chilling hold

Until that day I watch the trees of fire

Like a natural funeral pyre

I really loved the descriptions you gave in this. "The color of fire, the color of desire". Awesome line. I try not to use 'awesome' too much for it literaly means "something that leaves you in awe and wonder." And most things today people say are 'awesome' are not. But this, this truly does leave me in awe and wonder. Great write. Just beautiful.
