when the options die

~ chrome arctic ~

There’s no going through
The danger of you
Circle around to block my north
Making crashing my last option

There’s no pulling loose
Hooks dug into me
Without ripping veins, spilling blood
Leaving pills my only exit out

It feels so cold
The sense of it falling down
Inside of me
when the options die

There’s no common sense
In pauses in my mind
How am I capable of such thoughts?
Am I conflicted or just evil?

There’s no turning back
I’ve done what I did
I used to be a man who’d pray
Feels like god committed suicide

It stings so sharp
Breezes like needles on skin
Piercing through me
when promises lie

I can feel the frost on this one. I wonder what tapped the well for this. Very somber, nice finish.

Simple, but deep, confusing yet so clear, to those that understand it. I like it. ~Ang
