inertia.

~ Anna Helianthus ~

in this body
I am merely
atoms responding
to a pull
with pink lips
and a feverish
forehead

like pressure
on a hinge
all this force
in my blue
dress, like
a peacock
with tar on
it’s feathers
and you just
push, trying
to alter my
state of
motion but
I will not
give
