The Machine

~ Lawless Fighter ~

All day long
It works and toils
Sings its song
Of steel and oil

We built it well
We thought it best
Our pride had swelled
We feared the rest

We gave it breath
It lives off us
Through war and death
We feed its lust

Machines live on
Cursed blood of oil
Fore when we're gone
It still will toil

I liked it, the flow and allmost child like rhytme of it all

The child-like rhyme was my aim. . . who better to tell of our failure as a generation than the generation who are following us?

Simple, and thought provoking... has man outdone himself by creating yet another monster?

An interesting look into the dualistic machine imagery. Chaotic yet, nothing at all (empty in a sense)... I liked this one.
