Long time no see DP.
I let life carry me away in it's superficial drama and longing for things. And in it I forgot myself and so I have not put pen to paper in a long time. It took some time to realise what my discontent was. The ache for more grew daily and before I knew it I saw a journal in a store and began to write once again.
I must say this journey has some tears in it, but I am so happy to have refound some part of me that I had lost. I have a writers heart, a poets heart, and without this expression I think I am quite lost.
Thank you to everyone for your feedback and your opinions, but mostly for sharing your works, and reminding me that I am not alone in my quest for beautiful words, for expression, and for truth. Never stop writing from the heart and mind.
Thankyou Dark Poetry for my years membership and the postcard member prize, without winning the icon competition I would not have been able to send in a postcard before my account expired. Hope everyone enjoys the spider icons.
