Free Memberships on a Valuable Poetry Site

We hope that you'll at least consider a regular membership, but if you have reviewed the options, and prefer a free membership for now, you only need to send us a postcard or letter at the following address:

What should I write on the letter/postcard?

At the least, your username on DP (don't go changing it in the meanwhile) and your email address.  If you know your user ID number, put that down too. You can include drawings, poems, or anything else you think might amuse us so long as we don't have to pay added postage, which really really doesn't amuse us at all.

This membership level is for those of you who absolutely can't afford to send us money, but you're willing to work hard enough to find or make a paper postcard and find the way to mail it.  If you think we're worth the effort, we'll return the sentiment.

How long is it good for?

As long as you need it.  Accounts that haven't been logged into for more than a year may be discontinued, but if you are regularly using your account, you will have it for life.

Isn't there another way?

Recently, DarkPoetry has started a program to scout out quality members from the ranks of our trial membershp, and promote them to a complimentary membership.  The best way to be chosen for this is to leave lots of sincere comments and post some works of your own.
