"The midnight Cigarette" by Sentient Ignorance

As the night flashes by
a blur
a sigh
a muffled cough
I think again about the stars
what do they hold for me

This trauma called life
a stab
a prod
a misleading lie
I remember my existance
and wonder where i am

Inhaling the perfume of death
a faggot
a smoke
a midnight cigarette
I cut myself on the inside
and add another scar to the list.

Wow. Topher, your work matures in cohesiveness and style. This piece flows very conscience-ly. Is this "scar" on your bed post? Very, very, very good write. -Gideon

Oh ya, i didn't answer your question. It means emotional scars, cut myself on the inside, ya know, like pain you can't see.
