Heavenly father,
are you really there,
and did you hear and ignore my last prayer
It feels to me heaven is far away
and that your gone, but I am still ok
Heavenly father, I remember now
something that Jesus told disciples long ago
suffer the children to come to me,
Father in prayer I'm coming now to thee
Heavenly father,
I dont think it's fair
why should the good die lonely, while the evil pair
making more hatred for all of us
causing the innocent to lie and cuss
Heavenly father, I can feel it now
something that was promised by you long ago
a heavenly body is holding me,
Father in prayer i'm coming now to thee
Heavenly father,
I can feel you there,
I know you listen and remember every single prayer
but why will this pain not go away
is it eternal, if so that's ok
Heavenly father, I think I know it now
remember when you held me oh so long ago
