I know you need your space
I just don't know how much
but when i'm away from you
I'm dying for your touch
your gentle caress
leaves me in distress
because I know it will end
But i would give up this
for your tortured kiss
that cause my knees to bend
You know i cry when i think
of being here alone
this terrible feeling that i fight
and to which i am prone
and as the tears begin to flow
i turn so i can't see you go
this flame hiding in my heart
turns to a bonfire
when i hear your car start
and when i turn to say goodbye
i see your tail lights down the street
I stand there alone and crying
while the gravel cut my feet.
