Stripped, beaten, and bored
Unseen scars tatter my robes
Beneath life's facade lies
Lonely, tattered, torn
A child untended
Restricted by fear
Restrained by hope
Protected by nothing
Discard these years
I think not
Success is not achieved
It is discarded by another
To be worn as a tattered robe
Bracing against the winds of life
I shiver as my success falls
To pieces at me feet
