A rose so sweet
Dark and beautiful
To be handeled lightly
And with care
For a prick from her thorns
May be a wound that never heals

Beware
The fool who grips her tightly
His wound will stay with her thorns
But beware even more
The one who holds her too lightly
For the wind is strong
To carry her away
