My notebook is almsot filled
Filled with my thoughts of the year
A year where anger got the best of me
Me - Young, beautiful, ready to live now
Not like before. I'm something much more
More than your amazing guitar
More than your awesome drawing
Give me a pencil and I'll write it out for you
'I'm not perfect but at least I'm me'
Nothing more, nothing less
Take a deep breath, we're going under
Count the stars as we move forward
Don't go that way; it leads to destrucion
Frustration always biting me
Get rid of the bugs
Get rid of all your sins
Don't do it; Don't give in to the temptations
Sing my song, paint my picture
It's ok if you mess up
It doesn't have to be perfect
Tie your shoes and walk with Him
Live and learn and spread the joy
From an ice cream cone walking on sand
Take my hand and promise not to go
I love you with all my heart
Save me now; I'm caling out your name
Put me back on my swing
And catch me when I jump off.

Wow.. this was an interesting write, I'll agree with braindead, we do it for ourselves, but at the same time I'm taking something of this for myself.. I loved the ending lines. I too am smiling :) ~b

wonderful. Enough here to make anyone who is willing smile. Confusing to others or not, it doesn't matter what they think; we as writers do so for ourselves, and leave messages for others to follow. It was a pleasure to read this, thank you.
