An Ode 2 My Love
As I watch from afar
I am blinded by the beauty I see
Never before have I known someone
As untouched by darkness as he.
I find myself short of breath,
My heart beats faster and I imagine
Gazing into his sapphire blue eyes
No one can comprehend the love I feel for him.
One day I will find the courage
To speak my love aloud,
But for now just a smile from him is enough
As we fight together side by side.
