I tend to believe you
When you say im yours
Holding me close by your side
But it seems with each day
We fall farther away
From being together as one
Your eyes
Losing passion
Your touch
Becoming weak
Your words
Vague & incomplete
And in no part of you
Is there a trace of me

"And in no part of you/Is there a trace of me"...I know this feeling...I put up with it for almost a year before realizing that perhaps there was nothing for me to hold on to. Familiarly painful, beautifully portrayed. ~*Beth*~
