You left a soul behind, young angel
You remember of whom I speak
She longs for your embrace, young angel
For mine is far too weak
She yearns to hear your voice, young angel
Watch you smile, feel you breathe
And you know she blames herself, young angel
For your eternal leave
She lives her life alone, young angel
She fears and abuses herself
And I believe she's unaware, young angel
When she's hurting someone else
I tried to wake her up,. young angel
Though she claimed she had no passion left for me
But I am in love with her still, young angel
Though I am not you, you see
So I have been wondering, young angel
Can your soul take the place of mine
For I know with you she will be happy, young angel
And she will forget my love in time
Please do not worry, young angel
The evil that destroyed you has passed
Return to the girl I love, young angel
So she can love at last
