Why I Hate People

Listen to the wind

Tomorrows just another day
to wake up and say
maybe, maybe not
today's not that day
pray for your faded god
jaded jesus to save you
from the wretched world
that we live in

Praise the commander in chief
of our wonderful nation
so free, yet we can't speak
without our words being censored
to fit the mold of the minds
of the people who control
our freedoms, our privelages
control what we think, cultlike in nature
pronunciate and maybe
we'll have more faith when
our lovely dubya can say nuclear
without stumbling over
tripping on his words

Fuck you and your idealistic morals
values of the bible that
entrance and entice, devise
world domination by the nation that we are

time to move on...

off the politics and onto the people
the people of the world, the humans
so inhumane, yet crying for peace
pleading for salvation from the destruction
caused by their own greed and malpractice
atrocious atrocities, yet the homeless go unnoticed
as we send off millions to kill and rebuild
because we don't want them to be homeless
no, they deserve much more because the lived
under a tyrant leader (silent laughter)

in the age of napster and lawyers
begging for money so their millionare clients
don't go through life one stone short of bling
let's sympothize with them so they can eat lobster
while we struggle to pay the bills and stay warm
but our 20 inch rims will help us smile
because they keep spinning as life winds down
and drowns us in our own apathy

in an age where computers raise kids
and parents work on the street corners
selling rocks and handjobs for a shot
yet the one single mother who tries her best
gets critisized because she works two jobs
and can't spend enough time with her son
so he shoots up a school and we blame her
for making a living and not being the
welfare mother that we all love to hate

yet we sympathize for the medicated drama queen
only 16 yet thinks life is over and slits her wrists
because her daddy won't give her a hundred bucks
to by a skirt that's five inches too short
so she can impress the local football team
adn become the next statistic in an already growing
teen pregnancy rating and aids epidemic
but we all look past that and blame the father
for being a father and not just a figurehead
bullshit, some take his side and blame the music
because we all know manson saying that god is gay
will corrupt the minds of kids who put up with
mommy fucking the milkman and billy smoking weed
in the bathroom at school and make them hate life...

and you wonder why i hate people
