He kicked a star,
that hit a bird,
one solitary uncured
saluting the night
mellow grieving
weary weaving
watches in delight
singing the thoughts i cannot say
knowing and singing, to set me right
until i feel once again that may is may
outweigh
outvies
innocent warblings
might make us wise
will he but follow
or bid to rise
will i set my notes of praise to word
or launch my heart never to be heard
my treasured love
i only long for heaven
the wing of this dove
heart pierced each seven
he is my star dwelling on high
the deepest azure of the vaulted sky
shine on the land
by your hand manned
shine on my sea
little breezes talk to me
move around the sun
favourite one
outdone
with a measured motion
devotion
preconcieved notion
in madness now i spake it
let him leave my heart
or take it
let him heal my heart
or break it
it remains for him
only love holds still
not a passing whim
but this woman's steadfast will
and if you do not love me
although most unsightly
my thoughts this must be
i cannot break so lightly
once frayed my soul to thee
your chain that bound me tightly
i cannot rise above
for there is nothing i am void of
i cannot rest below
my loveliness only set to glow
the star kicked was his presence
hitting the bird of my heart sense
beating her wings
for you she
clings
for you she
sings.
