Why must I endure this pain
Why do you force me to play your game
Must I get up every time I fall
Why can't we just forget it all
Why do you heal me just to hurt me
Why do you do this to me continually
You are my healer and my destroyer
You will be with me forever
I realize this all now
I can understand how
How I can't run and I can't hide
For you are inside
You are living within
Though I don't know how you got in
Now you thrive on my soul
Feed on my heart making a hole
My pain gives you pleasure
My anger feeds you power
You've taken over, now you're in control
You ate away my heart and have stolen my soul
I have no one to blame but myself
Because I have been alone with nobody else
I had pushed everyone away
You were the only one I asked to stay
Now this is the price I must pay
You are all my darkest sin
The lies and secrets I hide within
You are part of me
A part no one else can see
I look in the mirror and I see you
Now I have no idea what to do
I want to make you leave
I want to make you get out of me
But you are my punishment
To you I have been sentenced
I give up for now once again
And lay here wishing for the end
Knowing this is my own fault
