If love is so wonderful
Shouldn't it be easier
Shouldn't our love for each other
Overshadow other problems we have with other things
Shouldn't it push aside all worries and cares
Instead it causes us to lie, cheat, and hate

If we can't even understand it

Or is it something just decided for us
Why is something that can make us feel so good
Hurting us so bad
Why is love so irresistibly addicting
How can love ruin and fix everything at the same time
Why is something so beautiful so painfully wonderful
Why would we do so much evil
To have something so pure
What is it that makes people die for love
How is love unbreakable yet breaks our hearts
If so many people have known love
