You helped me understand my feelings

You made me realize what was inside

You made me realize what I needed to do

You helped me send the letter

You helped me wait for a response

You kept me calm

You kept me patient

You were there when he wrote back

You were there when I was happy

You are here still

You are one of the few left

You are the one I'm grateful for

You are the one I'm thankful to

You have come the closest to understanding me

You are a wonderful poet and,
