Supine. Not asleep. Not awake.
The back of eyelids evince the unknown.
A pulse in the dark. A voice in the ocean.
Or was it a canyon? Trivial.
A shift of perspective. A rain drop in the sea.
Time and space bend to resolve.
This reality. This truth.
What truth? Walk away
But not fast enough. Never fast enough.
Wave as sanity sinks.
Thousands of transient, transitory images.
But there is only now. Only here.
Behold the pandemonium. Behold the mind.
Turn and float on.
Step through the rubble, beyond the known.
Beyond the declared lies the answer.
Hand in hand with the question.
Slow fade. Just know you’ll never know.
A flawed beholder beholds flawed beauty.
Yet beauty remains beautiful.
A contradiction of contradistinction.
