For getting me through the Darkness,
Though now you're so far away.
You used to always be there for me.
My guiding light,
My spring of hope.
From my bonds you set me free.
Along my painful journey,
Down the winding road,
Through the bitter Darkness,
Thoughts of you comforted me.
When I needed help on a lonely night,
I focused on your face.
It gave peace to my soul,
It helped me to stand and fight.
Thinking of you kept me steady.
It lifted my spirit,
It held me high,
But I depended on you too heavily.
Because now it feels like you've gone,
And my heart went with you.
Tears blur my vision,
I know i'll break before long.
Look we've lost it all.
The fault is my own and we can't return.
I'll never forgive myself.
