I look around and all I see,
Are angry faces staring back at me.
These are my friends that I've hurt,
I can't believe how I treated them like dirt.
I said all the things I didn't mean,
Everything cruel, rude and obscene.
Time and time I get this way,
I can't control what I do or say.
So now I ask, "Why even try?"
As I gaze unseeing at the sky.
"Why fight who I am?
I try to resist but never can!
I scream in your face, 'I'll never bow!'
But the real question is how?
You see it's quite impossible for me,
Because the truth is i'm already on my knees..."
