Sorrow comes and happiness fades,
Finding myself lost in past days,
Tears stream down my grief stricken face,
No one said life would be frills and lace.

I can't deny my happiness on this day
But my memories won't fade away
They said the bad out-weighed the good
I believe we were just misunderstood

Everyday I woke to your beautiful face
And you surrounded me with your warm embrace
I see now that what is said, is done
The inevitable fate from which I run

And all I want to say...

is that I'm sorry.
