"I don't even want to talk to you for a couple of days"

Echo, echo, echo, echo...

Crawling down my yellow-brick road
hoping to run into one of those freaks...

Someone without a brain, or a heart..
realizing I'm surrounded by them every day

I just need someone to keep me company
so as not to stray into the depths of lonley

I had someone....
"Head up, eyes on the prize"

Someone like that.

But as I constantly do,
I fucked it up

Now he doesn't want to talk to me,
doesn't want to be around me

Three clicks

There's no place like home
There's no place like home
There's no place like his arms

Take me there....
or kill me please

Hopelessness causes me to fall
falling, falling, THUD

Hitting rock bottom is a real pain in the ass.

good work. i expecially like that you state the fact we are surrounded by heartless brainless "freaks" everyday. once we relize this everything comes into the light

this hurt my heart to read...it seems that most of the time we get in our own way of happiness..i hope it all worked out in the end ~kristy

(Lions and tigers and bears...OH MY!) This was a need little ditty. Effectively related. But where the hell are the munchkins and the somewhere-over-the-rainbows? :)

ha. Cool. I thought it was going to end happy, but you picked a much better way. So desperate you'll tap your heels together in vain hope. It's like thinking "i'll close my eyes and this bad thing will go away" and then walking into a door

Hah. I like it. Anger, love, and some sarcasm. I like it a lot.
