I am broken
Why, can't you see
The shattered pieces
Of what was me
A broken heart
May well mend
Not wanting uncertainty
Around each bend

I want the knowing
That you'll be there
And undying faith
That you care
I want forever
Plus one day
And the trust
That you won't stray

I wish to have you
With all your flaws
And know your love
Needs no cause
But i really need
You to understand
You need not meet
My every demand

Wants and wishes
All aside
My fears and concerns
I cannot hide
Needing you
Has become routine
though dependence upon
Is not in my mien

I understand that longing... its hard and almost impossible to find. once you find it though, dont let go. nothing good comes from letting go, believe me

and when a person swears to uphold these wishes? What then? do we give in to those fears because it's so easy to do? Or do we swallow it all and do as our hearts scream? do we drown those screams, as well?

Do we run back into the shadows and await another to fulfill these promises, when one has already sworn by them? We do, and it's human nature to do so. when failure becomes secondary, we seldom see the hope beyond the fog. good luck ;) bdp
