Death derrived from a broken heart
Holding on through sixty years
A married life that tore her apart
Watching her suffer through all the tears

Five days after his soul let go
Her spirit released with a sense of ease
Evidently seeing this chance apropos
Left this world in a sentience of appease

The caregivers burden lifted away
Decades of having him to attend
Uselessness surrounding her dismay
Wishing to be with her best friend

The tiny woman who no longer exists
Pierces my dreams with comparable eyes
She is quickly engulfed in a dark abyss
My only regret was our lack of goodbyes

"Death derrived from a broken heart," the first line struck me stupid. This was excellent from the first line to the final letter.-Diviana

Very moving. This raised the hairs on the back of my neck. Hauntingly familiar, and a wonderful dedication to wonderful people.
