Creativity takes hold at the least expected time
My mind races with conversations past
You are my inspiration
Refilling my mind with views and opinions
All of which had been suppressed
Or jostled subconciously out of my mind
By people browbeaten
Afraid of meaningful banter and perspective
Of what power these thoughts might invoke
But you provoked it
You encouraged the real me to secrete
Slowly this timid child emerged from concealment
Not the least bit apprehensive or frightened
But rather stronger and grasping a better hold on her prospects
Not a minute goes by that I don’t imagine your face
Knowing I could sketch every shadow and contour from vivid retention
For you are eternally etched into my mind
And though we may not be together
You are mine...
And I am forever yours
Can you empathize why everything appears to be so consummate?
Because it is.
