Glass in a rock garden
Dulled shards
Purple blades of grass
Reasons for staying
Complaints and options
Raptures far away
Six or seven years at least
Scanning heartmaps for love
Candle-flames choked by the wax
He’s not coming back
Everything has a reason
Pine tree state
Home where the heart is
Hearts left behind to worry
Nest emptied of nests
Stand and be true
Make the most of this
Don’t fucking blow this
Wake up and die right

the last four lines bring this to a very rewarding end. Recognizing how pathetic we can be in our weakest moments is one of those things that makes us realize how far we've allowed ourselves to fall.
