Take me from reality -
Dogmatic, trite, insanity
Then drop me into fallacy
To give me peace at last

Forget that life’s a travesty
A bane of stark normality
That lingers so sporadically
Away then to the past

To free us from this saddened face
Where dour looks show ill-kept grace
Quickly, hurry, come, make haste
Lest we drown in lives mundane

Let’s travel back to simpler pace
And journey back to joy’s embrace
To revive life from death’s cold place
And light on truths made plain

In dreams we have eternity
In hopes we live eternally
With faith we know conceivably
The shortfalls weigh us down

But turn me to reality –
And truth’s accountability
The secret is simplicity
And with this peace is found.
