Strange how sadness melds so well
at ease with loneliness and loss
A worried point on which you dwell
when love's demands outweigh the cost
As foolish fears create this spell
and lovers come home every night
Ignoring warnings of the hell
that clouds the mind and steals their sight

BittErsweeT in DIatribE
Hate ~n~ Love
as ONE abide
but only coming
down to
~{this}~
: :
the song you miss
the tears you kiss
.no more.

...

You fit this sorrow like your skin
at ease with all it's chilling touch
Now knowing what it is to sin
and giving up so very much
As sharks lurk near with telltale fin
and lovers splash in blackened seas
Unwitting of the death within
that Fate has destined up for these

Violent Peace in Quiet Rage
Love ~n~ Hate
the self-made cage
to only end here
with just
~{this}~
: :
Lonely, Empty,
Full of plentY

"when love's demands outweigh the cost" The rhyme scheme in this is amazing...flowing across the page like a shooting star across the midnight sky. Excellent message. ~*Beth*~
