perception receded and "he" is not "her"
shamelessly bleeding thoughts long believed dead
regretful deception with ignorance blur
and so doubting, she doubts the doubts in her head

the questioning questions her making false facts
temptation, denial, with fear and love rage
anticipate loss of his faith for her pacts
then running to run from wont's unseen cage

how long, how far, and to where she can't flee
an attraction's returned to shatter this soul:
sacrifice love she's just managed to free
for mere suspect's teasing now taking its toll?

fingers brush gently on steel-entwined strings
a voice croons softly to bring forth a fire
this folksinger's magic is real as she sings
and the lust in her wakens for woman's desire

still fresh in her mind is her sensual bliss
imagined - so real - the taste of her skin
the lingering passion behind every kiss
the pleasure, the passion that has yet to begin

she feels her, the softness and curve of her breast
her strength and frailty, caressing her face
the feel of her thighs firm against her, pressed
her moans of desire in her heated embrace

deception debated, for "he" is not "her"
while tearfully dying with fear for their life
perception perceiving as doubts within blur
for she already sees herself as his wife.

This was dizzying in it's construction, and stunning in it's statements, and phrase. Really lovely. I almost felt like I was the voyour, somewhere in off-Paris. The feeling of contradiction swills round this one like ice in a glass of brandy. Write on
