Drifter drifting once again
Numbing nothingness returns
Cloak wrapped close to hide away
The blade of blame within which burns

Safely shadowed 'neath a hood
A cherub's cheer and pretty face
Hiding hatred cold as sin
Fury fain has sought this place

Lo! Behold! Betrayer Here!
Silence screams for sustenance
Awake! Destroy! Disaster's Dear!
Small shivers show her cowardice

Lonesome Lonewolf on the move
Escaping East of Eden's fall
"To Where, Why There" Ask not this heart
She dances wild to waxen call

A mate, mature beyond his years
Came calling, calling, gently sweet
He held her heart and cradled close
Her fearful fangs - a daunting feat

Get back! Away! An Anger Burns!
Care and calming peace prevails
Defend or Die! Death she yearns!
Patience safely setting sails

Shifter, shifting once again
Empty emptiness returned
Arms wrap 'round a body tired
Shielding her from solitude earned.
