Liken her to a secretive phantom
Glider, racer, on white plane of snow
Enduring, enlivened, with such power held close
Wanderer, traveler, with somewhere to go

Alone or with mate, independence so sure
Survival, a fighter, persistent and strong
With pack or alone, beating the odds
Hunter, still hunting for her self all along

How long will she race with her shadow so fair
How long will her legs lift her to unknown goal
Trotting, just pacing, like clockwork she goes
Always the hunter, seeking life in her soul

Alone or with mate, she's always so sure
Surviving, a fighter, singing lonesome her song
With pack or alone, she'll make do either way
Hunter, still seaching for a place to belong

Liken her to a mysterious specter
Glider, racer, drifting with snow
Enduring, enlivened, with such sorrow held near
Wanderer, traveler, alone, without fear.
