Worn hands and heart made new in idleness
A thought, a whim, not much, but magical
And thus we call the Fates to bear witness
To taming of one spectre's lonesome fall

Serene, this peace in waters deep and pure
New breath and mind become a longed-for song
And yet, so cautiously, her fears endure
Whisper and warn, something does not belong

"Never, my love, should you compromise"
Past Heart had made her soul vow to believe
Such pain with love - endless wars 'neath those eyes
Who could fortell how her spirit would grieve

Yet darkness of solitude makes love mad
Asylum of life make lonely heart-aches
'Neath the weight of the world, she struggles, sad
Defeated yet fierce, new love she forsakes

Structured rules and truths lose form easily
For one bit of wholeness she'll just not see
