I am losing myself in thoughts of you
Fading so far so fast
Dimly I know that this may not be true
But I thirst for change
But I yearn for new

I am teaching myself to think this way
Feeling such futile fear
Vaguely I know that this cannot stay
But I hunger for more
But I ache for this again

I am blinded by your blazing sun
Failing to find your face
Remotely I know that you're not the one
But I beg and plead
But I ask and yet do not receive

I am fooling myself with hopes to high
Following you for fun
Yes, I know that this is a lie
But yet I persist, and ache, and sigh
But still I live, I long, and die.
