See this I want you
to understand and be
aware of all the meaningless
the vanity of me

Know this I want them
to make me worth my while
as the things I know they say
destroy me and defile

This is where I lay to rest
This is where I sigh
Here is where I find my best
Here is where I die

Feel this I want to
make the joy forever live
inside this emptiness within
that knows not how to give

Forget that this was new
Forget that this was true
Forget that things had not worked out
Forget that I loved you
