Hazy foreboding obscures blinded sight
It comes, approaching, unadulterated night
Passion is ebbing, the chillness seeps in
Trails finding ends where none would begin

Returning, I'm home
To visit this Lie
Returning, my self
To the silence's cry
Returning, the tears
To the cold stones of gray
A lack, heartfelt, in every day
Aching sensed but for what I can't say

Existence is jaded, a pointless fight
Exhaustion consumes, making wrongness feel right
Joy seems so foreign in this sorrowful place
Laughter, a memory that once held this face

Returning, come home
For a lifetime or more
Returning, my spirit
Drifted far from this shore
"Come hither", come lover
Rape the corpse of my mind
Let flow blood streaked with tears
Mayhap then strength I might find

Very sad and deep. I really like this, and how it all flows together. "Rape the corpse of my mind" Ever so lovely and very vivid.
