I love you…

Everything within me screams
My feelings spill across the pavement as I walk away from you
There’s nothing left for us

Yet

I love you?

Lie to me and betray my trust
Turn your back and watch me fall
Pour salt in the wounds.

Yet

I love you?

Break every promise you have ever made
Take away all that I have
Compromise my very life

Yet

I love you?

Lie to your face destroying our trust
Harbor a thousand ill doings inside
Wait for your fall with a cheering hand..

Yet

You love me
