It appears to me
for that I have been for blessed
for I have now what I seek
to find and discover
the feeling that makes you complete
the ability to express freely
to be yourself
and be accepted for simply just that

I feel guilty for not realizing this all before
to find out there are ones who care
and for you I care in return
more so than you think
your company, to me
is an everlasting debt I must pay off to you
because the feelings are true
and I owe this much to you

A series of fortunate events
meets me face to face with the truth
the truth in which I want to share with you
