If only I could control
the motions of the sea
control the flow
and direction of the current


dreaming...
hoping...
believing...


Time goes by
and I continue to try
attempting to learn to do this
even if I die trying


dreaming...
hoping...
believing...


Over and over again
trying to not let it show
that the driving force of the waves consume me
and keep me from accomplishing my goal
though I seem to continue


On...
and on...
and on again...


Slowly but surely
I find I cannot accomplish such a task
to control nature is something out of my range
I can hope all I want but things will always be the same


Cannot be contained
the dissapointment
will the death to my soul be in vein?


Determined
but doubts at hand
which soon turn into disbelief
and focus is lost
the battle becomes not in your favor

Before you know it
it is all over
consumed by the waves
dragged down to the ground
while lost and left with nothing...

In the end it matters not how much you tried
as the cruel sea has no remorse
washed ashore dead and noone to help
and the ones who claim would have not and never will



Such a sick and disturbing trajedy
while still making one sad
but no matter how bad, I continue to wonder
if only I really could be able to control the motions of the sea
