A nice girl
very sweet at times
nice personailty
one that strikes my attention
gone before my eyes

Alone she travels
on a quest to find the ones who care
a true friend
someone to be there for her
little does she know she had this
and continued to look it over

Constantly betrayed and lied to
called names
rumors spread about her
then back to the person who really cares
she comes crying the one who does
even expresses feelings towards the one
but they do not last for long

Once she decides to forgive the same backstabbers
the one who cares is clearly out of the picture

The process continues over and over
again the one witnesses
a fake
a fraud
someone who you think is your friend
but clearly does not act like one

You seek help yet again
but I reject you
as I have done all I can do
and you reject me enough
you tend to forget about what matters in life
and strive for things that hurt you

Perhaps you should have expressed your love in your actions
rather than preaching it out to me in meaningless words
but now it is too late because now you are gone again
but this time around, so am I...

They always seem to drop the ones who care the most and regret it later... hit home for me as well! Great job, loved it!

and words fail to come out from my mouth even in the most frail utter. simple yet elegant. this girl that you have melacnholically illustrated resembles that of an old female friend I had. and like yourself, I have cut her off entirely. well done.
