crawling along the floor of broken glass and salt
screaming with the lack of you in my life
tequilla never smelt so poison
blood never taisted so sweet
tomorrow is already here
tell me how it ends
nothing's ever been so clear
does the broken heart still bend
crying in the pain of sunlight
as i open up the door to the world
falling down the front step
onto the grass still razored with frost
tomorrow is already here
tell me how it ends
nothing's ever been so clear
does the broken heart still bend
now dragging my useless legs behind me
my fingers turning red/blue in the ice of morning
catching breath as it rise's from my nose
in the way smoke billows from a burning tyre
tomorrow is already here
tell me how it ends
nothing's ever been so clear
does the broken heart still bend
the mark is forged on the door as i drag myself up the car
crimson slide against the pale blue paint
falling into the seat, i begin to cry
keys already in the ignition
tomorrow is already here
tell me how it ends
nothing's ever been so clear
does the broken heart still bend
the cars now moving faster then my eyes can adjust
losing thought faster then the blood from my hands
tears still stripping the flesh from my face
this cold morning wont warm, my eyes wont stay open
tomorrow is already here
tell me how it ends
nothing's ever been so clear
does the broken heart still bend
i'm here now.
i can see your front door, still swinging open
i can't move now
the blood has warmed the seat of my metal coffin
i still cry now
thinking of the phone call in the afternoon warmth
how can you be dead now
yesterday you were in my arms
yesterday you smilled
yesterday you said "i love you"
yesterday you hadn't taken your own life
tomorrow is already here
tell me how it ends
nothing's ever been so clear
does the broken heart still bend
